GK: It's April, it's Poetry Month and it's

TR: (IRISH) It soared, the great bird, like a silver orb against the dappled blue bosom of sky luminescent with love, with spring, and the infinity of the sea, the sea, the great blue sea.

GK: It's the start of spring as well and it's

FN (HIGH TENOR):
My heart leaps up when I behold
A lady twenty-six years old
I smile and adjust my hat
And try to make my stomach flat.
Fa la la la la la la hey nonny nonny no. (SHAWM)

GK: Poetry month and the start of spring and of course the season of love you're just about to sing, aren't you?

SS: Oui.

GK: Is this the same song you sang last week?

SS: Oui.

GK: You don't know any other songs?

SS: Non.
GK: Just this song?

SS: Oui.

GK: Would you like to learn a new song?

SS: Non.

SS (HIGH, WAVERY):

Quand il me prend dans ses bras
Il me parle tout bas,
Je vois la vie en rose.

Il me dit des mots d'amour,
Des mots de tous les jours,
Et ca me fait quelque chose.

GK: Thank you very much. Thank you.

SS (HIGH, WAVERY):

Il est entre dans mon Coeur
Une part de bonheur Dont je connais la cause.
(SLAM DOOR)

GK: Thank you. Poetry and spring and love and it's not all a bed of roses, as you'll find out when you get older.

SS: HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?? AFTER ALL I'VE DONE FOR YOU. I GAVE YOU THE BEST YEARS OF MY LIFE. AND THEN YOU WALK ON ME LIKE I WAS A PIECE OF GARBAGE.

TR: Barb, I was only being friendly.

SS: YOU WERE FLIRTING WITH THAT WAITRESS AS IF I DID NOT EXIST.

TR: Barb, she asked me a question, I answered her.

SS: YOU WERE HANGING OVER HER LIKE A SPIDER SPINNING A WEB. AND THEN WHEN I OBJECTED, YOU CALLED ME A COW.

TR: I said, "Don't have a cow."

SS: Well, who would have a cow except a cow. Answer me that. (HEAVY PALL CHORDS)

GK: It's at times like this, a man thinks about the Monastery of St. Chuck all guys, no women. You go around in your robe, no need to get dressed up. There's a rule of silence so you never need to talk to anybody. And for penance, you play golf (SWING, KLIK, FLIGHT OF BALL. GROAN. "NO NO NO" DISTANT CRY OF PAIN. "SORRY!" Don't go to some program or retreat where you're going to have to talk about your childhood and hug each other and cry and relate to people. At the Monastery of St. Chuck, you just shut up and play golf. (SWING. FLIGHT OF BALL. "OH WHY DID I DO THAT? I CAN'T BELIEVE I DID THAT. WHY? WHY? GLASS BREAKAGE.
